The Frank Lloyd Wright® Wisconsin Heritage Tourism Program, Inc. is a not for profit section 501(c)(3) organization, initially created with assistance of the State of Wisconsin Department of Tourism. Its mission is to promote, protect and preserve the heritage of Frank Lloyd Wright in his native state of Wisconsin. We fulfill this mission through:
--An annual tour of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings known as "Wright and Like".
--Restoration and interpretation of the American System-Built Homes on Burnham Street, Milwaukee, WI
--Co-sponsorship of an architectural lecture series
--Sponsorship and support of many education efforts
--An information web site: www.WrightInWisconsin.org
--Web hosting for various non-profit Wright related web sites
--Distribution of free brochures to travel centers, tourist attractions, and Frank Lloyd Wright sites throughout the country
The annual Wright and Like Tour provides the public with a rare opportunity to tour private homes along with public buildings designed by Wright and related architects. In the past, our Wright and Like Tour was held in Lake Delavan, Spring Green, Milwaukee, Racine, Madison, Wausau, and Central Wisconsin.
